I come from the water, land and People of the Dawn, the Mi’kmaq through matrilineal heritage. And through my father, I come from the peoples of the Afro-Caribbean island of San Andrés, which is nationally part of Colombia. My formative years were entirely in Maine, primarily with my mother until age 10 — learning how to really be human. We often lived in an urgent manner, wild and under resourced for this current western context. These years were hard for many reasons — and they were essential for my becoming who and how I am.

I have spent many years studying with, sitting with, learning from and co-creating with some elders and teachers, leading to many mini deaths and resurrections / transformations within this life. My experience has been rather mystic, with profound life shaping claircogizant and clairvoyant events — and the stance I’ve cultivated through practice is rather rooted in really being here. It’s been my work to weave my inner world gold into outer expression, leading me to be a hybrid of Artmonk, alchemized by being hyper creative and having a daily practice since I was 17, an Earth Temple Priestess doing the work of reclaiming and embodying pleasure through deep shadow work in concert with Earth, a Fool who is eagerly at the edge of listening and trust, and Source-r-us or Medicine Bearer who is here to be beside and embody transformation and re-membering through vision, voice and hands on presencing.
